    Kudos to Sky Kings

My bonus was credited already, along with a nice email from their equivalent of a casino host. I have to admit it's fun looking at an $8000 balance there.

Here's another thought for those of you that have bonus money available...

Different Playtech casinos handle the withdrawal process on these phantom bonuses differently. Let's say you have a $500 balance which is actually $300 cash and $200 bonus. I've seen withdrawals handled three ways:
    • Withdraw $500, your balance is $0, you get $300.
    • Withdraw $300, you get $300, they manually zero your balance.
    • Withdraw $300, you get $300, and the other $200 stays put in your balance. You can then keep using it and withdrawing the profit occasionally until you finally lose it.
I don't know which applies to Sky Kings, and I won't find out until after I've finished the wagering requirements. If anyone does a withdrawal before me, let me know.

I played over 2000 BJ hands yesterday with 104 BJ's, that they paid only 3:2. I have e mailed with them about 10 times & they do not know what I am talking about, saying that they sent no e mail about a promotionon the 8th. I am open to suggestions, please.

I just received an e mail stating that "the deposit" had to be made on the 8th, as well as the play. I deposited on the 7th so they stated I am not eligible for the 2 :1. That stinks. However, they did credit my account for $50 just to make me feel better.

That's a real bummer, Spring. I'm so accustomed to these online promotions that I didn't even consider that this requirement could be confusing.

The statement earlier in this thread was:
" To qualify, you must deposit a minimum of $50 and play during the 24 hour period"

Here's the unwritten rule #1 of online casino promotions (and maybe land-based casino promotions too!):

When there's more than one way to interpret a statement in the terms and conditions, whichever way favors the casino applies.

I'll make a point of trying to look for any ambiguity in future promotions I post about. Sorry for your situation Springbac. I hope you turn the $50 into something worthwhile.

    Answer to Ken's Question

So I chickened out and withdrew the money! After playing some more last night, my run continued and I turned my $100 into about $900 cash. The way I like to play these bonuses a lot of times is just using the bonus as a cushion in case I need to get into it, but if I turn a decent profit, I cash out anyways. :(

Anyways, so I cashed out the amount minus the bonus amounts, and a message popped up saying I would lose certain bonus amounts linked to my withdrawal. After I hit okay, my entire bonus was removed, including the intial $100 bonus I received for my deposit yesterday even though it had been wagered 20x over.

I wish I had withdrew $899 just to see if maybe my inital $100 bonus might have remained. Oh well.

Ken, please continue to post these or any other good bonus opportunities you see at online casinos you trust. There are so many out there I don;t know where to start.

I'm going to check out who won the Wed Tourney at GP, I got knocked out in round 2. Oh well, I'm happy for my 1st tourney.

Simm, I had exactly the same experience with my withdrawal. You can never get the bonus with them. Instead of getting the Neteller 10% bonus they gave me the first time bonus of $100 that could not be claimed. Most other on line casinos have not counted the Neteller as a bonus as such. Well, there are plenty of other places to play. i did win on this site but think I will play elsewhere in the future.

    I almost forgot

Well, actually, I did forget to update my Sky Kings experience here, until a post in another thread reminded me.

After my bonus was credited, I had about an $8000 balance, of which $2000 was my money and the rest bonus. (It still included my signup bonus as well as the 2:1 bonus.) I started off playing $2 VP, and kept at it until my balance was down to $6000, now all bonus. I realized it was going to take a long time to either zero out or get lucky and hit a royal, so I decided to change my plans.

I went back to Blackjack Switch and bet table max ($300x2) for a while, running the balance up to $10,000. I picked up some more at regular blackjack, more video poker, and even won a couple hundred playing (gasp!) slots. When I finally cashed out a balance of close to $12,000, I was withdrawing $5800 of real money. Because I had bought in about $3000 over the course of my play, it was a $2800 profit.

After sending a scan of my license to verify my identity, I was paid within a few days.
