The 25,000 satellites offer great play WITHOUT the ploppies and a great value. I mean what more could one want?

Every day passing

Is one more day to the cusp. Today will mark the half way point of potential preloading the big game buy in price. What I mean is this

so far (6 days) 12 games(8.25$avg) = 99$ for those playing all games and not winning. So todays play will break the 50% point of the 215$ target

This considers playing the 5.50 and the 11$ games, fgk posted he only played the 5.50 games.

What reaching the cusp means is this. If you are to play the big game you have doubled the entry fee to 430$ by preloading it with satellites at about 13 days of play.

Of course you can make the very simple EV argument paying 430$ is a great idea because you could win 10K$. Even if you played every satellite game and bought in for 215$ your total would be just over 600$, I think I made an error on this before, and to pay in 600$ for a less than a .01 chance of raw probability to win 10K$ also is a good EV too, to some people.

Just plain facts.

Well with a week to go the $25,000 tourney will DEFINATELY be a go.

As of Friday, with an additional 16 satellites remaining, there are already 30people registered.

So assuming that no one who has already won a seat wins again there will be 46 people BEFORE the people who pay full fare enter.

Since it takes 125 players for Bet21.com to "break even" there "should" be a positive EV.

I see that last months winner has already qualified along with many other BJT.com members!

Hopefully we can make this a regular monthly event!
