Can someone provide me with a list of 15 bad boys of blackjack? I can name at least 15 bad boys of poker and I know v. little about poker players. TBJ players are a different breed aren't they? Although it seems like fgk42's DNA might be mutating as we speak, or maybe he is more of a Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde type.

Nah, the poker players are assummed to be bad because of their "poker faces" but underneath it all they'e just asleep at the tables, snoozing until they get a hand.

There's a fresh breeze blowing from the EAST COAST. A NEW BREED of TBJ players coming along. Yeah that's right, the no holds barred, trash talking, gun toting, BAD MAN of BJ. Yo that right. Bring on those lilly faced, sneaking bluffing pansy poker boys.

I got you bad boy stuff right here!

PS - Reachy this is what happens when I keep it all pent up for a week of non-posting!

 

Poker players are not snoozing all the time just when you are at a table for 14hours you tend to want to rest. With exception of the weekly- daily tourneys you start at noon and don't quit for the day until 2am if you don't get knocked out ann then you start again at 10am. And waiting for the good hand is called patience, bluffing is an option poker players have that BJ players don't have, I have yet to see a BJ player bluff the dealer into tossing his hand in.

 

Maybe not the dealer but I have seen and done some tricks to other players that caused them to bust. Lets face it

Poker isn't BORING... it's quite exciting, in fact. It's much more exciting than EBJ. However, EBJ is infinitely more -strategic- and -difficult- to play correctly than poker is. Poker requires psychology; EBJ requires actual mental acuity and strategic skill.

EBJ is a game of full public information. Everybody knows the exact same amount of data as everyone else at any given time. That's critical to a good strategy game. Poker, however, is not this way.

I've been playing [real] poker for seven years [and kitchen table poker since I was four years old] and EBJ for about three months, and at the rate I am going, I will have made easily 50x as much money, or more, at EBJ that I did at poker over the last seven years. It's all about strategy.

 

I play poker for a LIVING, it pays my bills. I do not play that much online other than tourneys because I find online to be boring and you can not get a read on the other players looking at a computer screen. I play some BJ tourneys on Global Player. I prefer live games both BJ and Poker so I play very little on the Internet, it just is not the same without player interaction in other words online is boring compared to live, not to mention fewer problems. 95% of my play is live, my biggest decision is which casino I am going to (10 casinos 20 minutes away) and then do I valet park or not.
