    Big expectations, little success

    What an adyssee!

    I had 13 more rebuys in the final and did not manage to finish a single one.

    One time, I was ahead with 5750, and the next one had 4800. An instant later, he climbed up to 7800.

    In one of the next tries I already had more than 7000. However, all lost again in one streak.

    I finally finished 3rd, together with Bianca (cetacea, some might know her from the GPC), for a prize of $1250 each. If my calculations are correct, I net out with a total win of $150. However, a small win is better than a big loss...

    Bianca says she had only 6 entries over all, making it a profit of $950. She'll have to buy me a couple of dinners for encouraging her to play at all. :)

    Well, while the $5000 first prize would have been a nice catch, at least you emerged without a big loss, as you say. Congrats for making the final four.
