    Sunday Night Poker and Beer.

I certainly enjoyed playing my normal second best in the hand game.

I too thank Maggie for setting it up.

And now I see why Ace never responded to my "loosen up" comment.

    Good game

I enjoyed it although I played badly. Mind you having luckygem on my left raising everything and Ken's female/feline alterego on my right, well, lets just say Rock===>ME<===Hard Place!

It's interesting playing against people you sort of "know". When I've played online poker before I've never played against anybody that I was familiar with. Clearly everybody at the table was an experienced card player and "gambler" instead of your usual batch of internet poker players that you come across. Should be back next week depending on how my Dads 60th birthday party goes (see, I can't be 80 Barney ;) ).

    Cheers

I definately wouldn't call ME an experienced card player. I've only started playing poker online and personally it drives me crazy. Everytime I had the Ace,Jack I wanted to just turn it over - alas those we only a few of the good hands I was dealt.

Poker takes too much time for my limited attention span. Last nights game went at hyper-speed compared to UB. Being that it was a friendly game I wasn't about to "bluff" and tried to chat and play but it was just too much for this lad.

I won't be there as I will be flying from AC. I'm trying to "earn" some travel money for Aruba at the tables.

When did your ancestors leave Blighty?

    Barney

You should check out www.ancestry.co.uk to trace any living relatives you may have in Albion. You never know there might be a family link. I believe I do have some relatives in the States but I've never had any kind of contact with them. Would be interesting to trace them.

    Fred

I too find poker a bit of a grind, especially internet poker. I really enjoyed it last night however, it's just a shame I didn't win :)

    New strategy: No Show

I wonder if I can finish third if I no show in Aruba? :joker:

Sorry about not being there. Gonna have to rebuild my PC (on the MacBook right now). I'll make it in this Sunday to give you guys a shot at getting your $8 back.

    I'm Rich Biatchhhh!!!

Either way, I'm rolling in the cash now!

I may just take those 3 dollars to the strip club and live it up instead.

    To my rich friend

Ace you actually don't have $3 because you paid $ .50 to the casino and you have only $2.50 left.
    You are wasting your money.
