Hope this helps you in your search for the TRUTH

OK i will come clean with my connection.I have and will continue to support the UBT Tour and its TV show.I have played at every UBT Tour stop that has been held no matter where it was. That is my connection with the UBT Tour and the nationally viewed show on CBS, with reruns now showing on the WGN Network on Sunday nights at 9PM eastern.

Now as far as Bet 21.com goes I also support that site by playing on it almost every day since it went live 6 months ago.My loyalty to that site has been rewarded back to me and other players with a $50,000 free-roll tournament that was held in St Kitts which was a UBT Tour stop sponsored by Bet 21.com. I also have the ability to play multiple overlay tournaments every day and night on Bet 21.com.That is my connection.;)

So Herman :joker: is that what you were looking for? For you information I wasn't even afraid to say that because its the TRUTH.

    Joe,

    Smoke and mirrors.

Since the owners of Bet21.com live outside the US what's wrong with the phone connection where they DO LIVE?

Phone traces over the airwaves? Don't think so. Besides the UIGEA only applies to the financial institutions not the sites themselves - I'll post the link to the law so that you can see there wouldn't be any legal problems with hosting the owners of Bet21.com on the airwaves.

    http://www.gambling-law-us.com/Federal-Laws/internet-gambling-ban.htm

    So any OTHER objections?

As a former LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, one who was dedicated to SERVE AND PROTECT I would think you of all people would like to get to the bottom of this issue once and for all so that we can make everyone happy.

    Joep,

Like you I too have played on Bet21.com since it went live 6 months ago. My loyalty to that site has NOT been rewarded back to me or the other 1000 plus players who have been denied our deposit bonuses.

In addition I was planning on going to Aruba in March for some sun and fun and EBJ but Bet21.com rewarded me by pulling their sponsorship of the UBT and not even having the decency to let anyone know about it.

So Herman is that what you were looking for? For your information I'm not afraid to write these things because its the TRUTH

    Wrong

    Bet21.com DOESN'T SUPPORT UBT!

What you are seeing on the UBT commercial airwaves is Bet21.net, NOT Bet21.com.

UBT, in my opinion, should put pressure on Bet21.com to make Bet21.com come clean.

After all Bet21.com is licensening EBJ software from UBT.

If a company was using my product and treating their customers like **** I'd be pissed and tell that company (in this case Bet21.com) to cease and desist the false advertising before I pulled the plug on them!

Yes, It's nice to be back.

Using the 50 tourney dollars that were credited to my account I used that to win the 8:30 25,000 satellite - winning another 215 tourney dollars!

Winning 3 satellites in 1 month - pretty cool!

Ahhhh.....it's good to be back!

    Cya Saturday night!

How many times are you going to beat your head against the wall? At least now they're telling you directly that you've been had. I don't patronize businesses that lie. If you want to, ok, but don't be surprised whent they don't deliver on their promises. You're all junkies who can't get your fix.

I've never played online. I don't know if I ever would but if I did want to I'd avoid bet21 based on everything I've read. I don't play much in live tournaments either. I've played in about 5 and never made any money. I don't claim to be that good. I do enjoy watching the good players play on the World Series Of Blackjack and on UBT but I find UBT doesn't show as many hands so it's hard to get a sense of the betting and sometimes the tv show feels like I'm watching a wrestling match. But I do enjoy watching the best of the best play but I don't claim to be one of them. I also will say that it seems that he best players carry themself with dignity and class. Even Dave Stann who is obnoxious at times shows respect for the game and the players. The same isn't true for certain other people but you don't see them playing on TV. I wonder why that is. Maybe they're not as good as they think.

Weapons of Mass Destruction and Blackjack

What do these two have in common? Is there an Al Quida threat for the next UBT event? Maybe it refers to Joe eating ten super deluxe burritos and playing at the tables? No again. It’s an analogy. Let me explain.

Well, Im still counting on the "Coming SOON" promise.

I suppose the CS reps have no way to filter or link customers questions and so they simply give the canned reply...

I enjoy the game and I hope it becomes a great problem free success! That may take some time and maybe some changes in management but the game is just too good to go away!

Its a brilliant idea...and a fantastic online game and regular game for that matter...

It has some bugs... plus its had to take a huge hit with this stupid new law.

None of that excuses the silent treatment management style or lack of ideas to settle past matters.

But Im not ready to throw out the baby with the bathwater yet.

I try to word my posts as not so subtle hints as to the path that would make me a more satisified customer... settle the deposit bonus and make that issue go away...pay it or settle some fair way and make it go away...run independant testing and publish the results to assure randomness...in seating and cards dealt...

Simple good business investments...these small suggestions would go a long ways to protect the huge investment that must have been made to get this baby up and running.

I want them to be a success...I do like to play...I gave up smoking 7 years ago....I went from a eat anything thin guy to eat nothing chubby man.... I hardly drink anything anymore...Im married so I have pretty much given up sex (just kidding honey...you know Im a kidder)

So this little game of skill is one of my diversions and its fun and challengeing and keeps me out of trouble...for the most part....:)

    Numbers, probability, randomness, etc…

We hear a lot about what is the “best” way to handle a specific hand. We use charts that are based upon thousand and thousands of hands, heck maybe even millions of hands, in order to determine how to get the best “percentage”. In fact there are several people on this site, Reachy, London, Ken Smith, Bluelight and others, who are extremely adept at programming and computing these numbers.

But when rubber meets the road it all comes down to that single hand and the cards that you have to work with.

In fact TBJ hands reminds me a lot of baseball. I have friends who are statistic nuts. They know that player A has a .265 batting average but against left handed pitchers the average is .295. In fact more and more managers will substitute players and pitchers, based on the statistics of the past. What’s the ERA of pitcher X versus batter Z?

We all say, “in the long run” you’ll do the right thing and it all evens itself out.

    What’s the “long run”? 20 BJT? 50 BJT? 100 BJT? 1,000 BJT?

I know that I’ve played many shoes of BJ and there is a rhythm to the cards. Any player with years under their belt will admit to it (maybe not openly). Cards clump, streaks happen (both good and bad) – it’s a part of the game.

However the flow of cards at Bet21.com is, in my opinion, not natural and definitely NOT random. There are readers on this site who have noticed it already but unlike me, they prefer to be smart and remain anonymous.

I made the comment about the site being “rigged”. One night while waiting for the table to begin another player queried me about that. I have to admit that “rigged” was a harsh word to be used because it implies intent. When you experience the amount of stiffs that I have over the past 4 weeks and see the higher percentage of dealer pulls, it leaves you a little “shell shocked”. Whether rigged or flawed or non-random, I have seen too much lately for me to believe that it is FAIR.

Given my personal experiences and those of other members I feel like Archie, Ken Smith and others. Therefore, until the next 25,000 event, FGK42 will be absent from Bet21.com (I happened to win another entry!).

It is my greatest wish that Bet21.com would “clean up their act” and soon. Until that I encourage other US players to come over to Blackjack21.com.

While I have posted some issues about Blackjack21.com they are mainly “personal” likes and dislikes. The one thing I have noticed at that site is that the cards are more player “friendly”.

'Rhythm' to the cards?? Clumping? Streaks? The 'FLOW' of cards?????? WTF?!

Next why don't you tell me all about 'taking the dealer's bust card' or screwing up the table by 'changing the order of cards' or even better -- what card you 'feel' is coming next. These statements are just laughable and have no place in a serious discussion of the game.

And as one of the pro players with years under his belt that you make mention to in your post, yes, there are days/weeks/months where all you seem to do is lose, no matter how high the count or playing conditions. But you know what? **** happens. You suck it up and keep playing. Because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you've played 10 shoes, 100 shoes, even 1000 shoes -- variance is a bitch and the simple fact is, all the results you talk about involve SHORT TERM RESULTS and SELECTIVE MEMORY. Plain and simple.

I know it may feel like the whole world is against you sometimes. You more than most, Don Quixote. But if you're going to engage in posting this kind of pointless mass hysteria involving nothing more than completely mathematically unsound logic masquerading as truth, then expect me and every other intelligent, experienced, professional player to tell you that you are just dead WRONG.

    -hd.
