Coming to Vegas - Help required

    Andy, Thanks for the English slang definition of "monkey". It's something I never heard before - living in a cave you know. :joker:

    Just for your general information, the Mardi Gras is about 1.5 miles walking distance to the northern part of the "strip". Add another mile or so to get to the "heart" of the strip. The Monorail is about 0.25 miles from the Mardi Gras which will get you to the strip faster but costs $3.50 per person. Any walk from the Marti Gras will take you through some lightly traveled areas so just be aware of that. I personally would not walk this area at night because of the relative lack of other humans. I'm not saying it's a necessarily dangerous area - just lightly traveled on foot and Las Vegas does have a high crime rate.
