    Thanks John

I was trying to figure out if these event might be worth playing with the short turnouts, but I still don't think I'd play in it.

I played in june Hilton MillionDollar tournament . Monthly prize pool is $35000.00
First prize $25000 2nd ,3rd, 4th and 5th $2500 each .the top 4 will advance to million tournament next june or july next year . So 48 player advance and they will add some wildcard drawing (I think between 10 and 16 ) The total number of player in MillionDollar tournament is 60 or so
Tournament entry is$2500 However Rebuy is only $500

    Correction...

Thanks for pointing out the monthly 1st place prize was $25,000 and not $10,000 as I posted on one of my earlier posts E1010.

I was misinformed on the monthly payouts, I was orignally told only the top four players were all that received money (actually the top 5, as I already corrected).

Still I'm not crazy about the top heavy format. I feel any player cashing should win money, not just get their entry back, but thats just my opinion and since I'm probally not going to play in this event anyway (without sponsorship anyway) I guess my opinion won't really matter...LOL

But anyway, good luck to all those who do play in this event.

Well to say they we're surprised is ....

Thanks to JohnReynolds for the original posting about this event.

THIS, right here, is in my opinion, a perfect example of how THIS forum can be used to help all TBJ players. The information we choose to share can help alleviate some of these "surprises"

In addition it is my hope and belief that tournament directors, several who have demonstrated a willingness to work with players, can also use this exact same information to make a BJT a win-win situation for ALL parties involved.
