Billy, you weren't at Ignace last October. That was the one where the Meskwaki (Iowa) BJT clashed with Ignace and almost all of our BJT.com friends who usually go to Ignace went to Iowa.

Differences?

So, what will be different this time?
Last time I was there (August?) Ernie said there would be no more "pitch" events so I'm sure everything is 6 deck shoe now. Right? Still have power chip at no cost?
Seems like you could surrender if dealer showed an Ace but that was the only time. Has that changed?
They also had a goofy rule for split Aces whereby if you wanted a second hit on a split Ace you HAD to double it down. At least, I think I'm remembering that correctly but, of course, I thought I was there in October, too!!!!!
Can someone remind me to go this Friday?????

That goofy rule is double on split aces for table min or match bet and is a very powerfull feature. If you are not familiar with it research it

Count me in! Alf will be there, IF we can pull him away from all the action on the casino floor! I just need someone to give me a cocktail when we get there Friday. After NINE hours in the car with our 87-year old buddy I will need a stiff one!

Bloodbath at Ignace

First round is over, and nobody from our BJT.com family got past the two-advance tables. BillyC, Monkeysystem, Schultzy (and Alf), Deb, myself, MrPill, and others whom I can't think of at the minute. NOBODY. We watched an amazing avalanche of the clueless and the total donks make one amazing "WTF?" play after another - and advance.
