5th Place MrsPill took a 5th place. She was the only Lady to make the final table so I was hoping that they would take it easy on her and let her have 1st. Did not work out that way, she had to fight just like the rest of them. I can't remember but Johny21 took 6th (I think). -Pill

Sorry! I must apologize to Tim for omitting his 2nd place finish when I recognized others. I knew about it but didn't realize that Tim was a member here or it wouldn't have happened. He's not only a very capable tourney player but also a nice fellow that deserves congratulations! Wish I could help with the "handle" change for him but I can't. I'm guessing that Ken or another knowledgeable member will jump in with that info. Billy C
Handle Hey Johnny C., I think I'm more adept at playing blackjack than figuring out how to actually change my username from Tink Halladay to Cadillac Tim. Have a nice weekend. Right now I'm playing phone tag with Deanne, but I'm hoping to be locked in by tomorrow for the St. Ignace tourney.
St Ignace July 26-28, 2013 I know I mentioned to some of you privately that I was planning on being there this weekend (and I was!). However, I will instead be playing at another event which is pretty much in my backyard (https://www.blackjacktournaments.com/oldtourn/viewtourn.php?infoID=2212). This event has better EV for me (not so many of you folks lurking, except for dalexy2kbj!) and will keep me home for the weekend, which my wife is happy about. So it's a win-win and hopefully a win for me from most angles. The downside of it is that I was looking forward to reconnecting with many of you in person. It also looks unlikely that I will be able to make it to "The Soo" in September. Oh well, there's always next year, or perhaps I will someday succeed in convincing a few of you to make the trip to Niagara Falls or to another event near me. I received my annual calendar last week for the 2014 Kewadin events. Two again at each place (Soo and St. Ignace). The early March one is at the Soo which could make for a challenging drive that time of the year. $25 price increase for all four events. Otherwise, I think all remains the same.
Thanks Billy. Can you update the event calendar with this info? I need to plan ahead if there is to be any chance that I will make it to a Kewadin event in 2014. I haven't been for a couple of years, so I may not get a calendar from them.
I will post the 4 dates but not until tomorrow. Don't have them with me. I'm sure that the first one is March 7-9 and it's at the Soo

I'm hoping one of you guys will do the regular calendar posts for these 4 events. I'm not able to because of time constraints and dumbness. It appears that the only change to these events is the $25 price increase.
Done. I assumed that the $25 increase in entry fee is across the board. So the $250 single entry with a room becomes $275, the $200 double entry with a room becomes $225 and the $175 single entry with no room becomes $200. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
