    LV Hilton over Meskwaki

    As much I dislike the Vegas scene, come next April, if I had to choose LV over Meskwaki, there's no question I'd choose LV. Why travel all the way to Iowa when the Hilton is giving away the farm? No longer can I depend on Meskwaki to follow through on their promises. They'll have to come up with something really good to renew my interest.

    My bias

    I'm not ready to "write the place off" but admittedly, much of that is due to my close proximity to it.
    We do have many legitimate bitches with Meskwaki for certain, but I think we all enjoyed some "positives" when there. (one of the most significant for me was visiting Rube's Steak House at nearby Monteur with Jonny21 on each trip)
    Hope I'm wrong but my guess is that they'll never resurrect BJ tournaments at Tama.

    I'm with you BIlly. I just might be talked into heading out there on a Saturday for a couple hours at the double deck and dinner at Rube's.
