    I have never done any blackjack tourneys yet, and have always been interested....what is the Buy In..., and I take it everyone starts with the same amount of chips ?....
    how many places does it typically pay etc.. ?
    I'm in Des Moines, and Im pretty stoked to get into this......someone give me this info please

    Your best source for quick information on most tournaments discussed on this forum is the CALENDAR listing (on this site) for the tournament in question. You will find most of your questions answered there.

    In virtually all Blackjack Tournaments everyone starts with the same amount of tournament chips - also called "funny money". Most tournaments only pay the final table participants - 6 or 7 players - although some pay the semi finalists.
