Who are the guys operating this site?:joker: :joker: :joker: It would be nice to know and would provide a certain level of trust.

    Site review

There are some nice features on the site. One thing you can find is all your history of the games you played. It shows detail: cards dealt, bets, plays, etc. Real good information for going back and seeing if you played correctly. I like starting the table with countdown after three players and playing with as many as get to table prior to start versus having to wait for full table. Game is different playing only ten hands, but you adjust to it. Looks good so far.

YNotPro, what's with the "They" thing?
From your previous messages, I assume you are connected with this site in some form. Can you provide any further information about who is involved with the site?

Do you really want to pay 10% juice to play on this site. I doubt that anyone can break even at this rate.

    the "They"

The "they" is because I was part of a testing group and asked to play many games over the past two years. I made suggestions and helped to work out the bugs for them. I believe they have posted something about the Company on "About us" on the front page.
I do know they have been certified by Twarte. They have spent a lot of time and money and expect to have a patent issued in the next 5-8 months.:)

    Incognito for now.

I have checked the site and "about us" offers no clue as to who operates or owns the site.
Without any past history of operating experience and until a full disclosure of who's who, it's pretty hard to send money into the site. At least, it is for me.:joker: :joker: :joker:

    blackjack21 employees...

I would suggest contacting blackjackinfo.com and blackjacktournaments.com about advertising. The moment your first check clears the attitude about your site will improve greatly! Just a suggestion.

    Can still make a profit...

Interesting you should say that Spring because I was chatting to someone about their Global Player 1&1 playing record last night and figured they had made a profit of just over 14% with a win rate of 66%. The same figures applied to blackjack21.com would give a profit of a shade over 9%. I won't say who it was but let's just say they are better than me (which probably isn't that hard but for the sake of arguement lets just say I'm average  ). Wouldn't know what my figures would be as I don't keep track - until now that is!!!

I would argue that the calibre of player is far, far greater at Global than BJ21.com so maybe more of a profit can be made at BJ21 even though the profitability is lower?

Just looked into the "free" $1000 multi-table freeroll they were on about and if I understand it correctly it involves depositing at least $55 and playing 5 mano a mano S&Gs or $110 and playing 5 single table S&Gs to qualify. Hhmm!!?

    Cheers

    I think

As Reachy said someone at GP has a 66% win rate. The big problem with these internet sites wont be trusting the company providing the service but players who develop counting and betting strats and can win at a 66% rate. This is much more of a problem than the 10% vig. For example you could have a team at your puter for counting and player analysis increasing your win rate. Playing at blackjack21 has been lots of fun, but I think live play offers a better chance of success. I wouldnt let the sites get too far into your wallet. Addiction is a hard friend to say no to. Since the 1 0n 1 duel at Global is less than three weeks in operation, I do not think any statistics gathered from such a short period will be of any significance, especially since the secret bet has been instituted within the past week.
Regardless, a 10% juice is just to much to overcome long term. How many poor bookies do you know that charge 10%???

    Agreed Springbac

You're right there isn't enough data yet to come to any firm conclusions (I think the number of games was 70).

Just as a matter of interest, although I'm sure most of you who play at Global know this already, a B/E win rate at Global 1&1s would be 53%. At BJ21.com it would be 55%.

I also suspect/hope that the secret bet at Global will be no more soon.

    Cheers
