    Yes, right at 1000

    Affirmative - just over 1000. On a related note, two of the seven at the finals' table did not purchase a Mulligan and at least one who did, did not use his during that round.

    Some more so than others

    Some more so than others if you think about it. As it turns out for those skilled tournament players who did buy Mulligans - they became more valuable than just "maintaining" parity with the lower than suspected total number that bought them.
