Poker or BJ? Cherokee is hosting the 12 BJ tournaments (Oct 28th - Nov. 11th), but they also are hosting a 12 day poker tourney as well at the same time.
Ladies only! Cherokee will be hosting one (maybe 2) women only BJ tournaments during their 12 day BJ event (Oct. 28 - Nov. 11th). As soon as I get the lastest up date of the scheduled events I will post.
TX This was on the Cherokee website. Only mentioned one ladies only tournament on Oct 31. If you get anymore info, please let me know. I really want to go and play there. Not my tournaments! While I was in Vegas last week, I had several players ask me about (MY) 12 days of tournaments. These are not my events and I have nothing to do with any of these tournaments. My friend Eric (TD @ Cherokee) is putting them on, I may have given him some helpful suggestion with the formats and rules, but those were just suggestions for his tournaments in general and not for these exact dates. If I still haven't gotten a sponsor for St. Kitts (UBT) I will be up in Tulsa for those 12 days. PS. Bring your golf clubs, they have a very nice course just across the parking lot. Just think golf all day and BJ tournaments at night, does it get any better. I guess I better put it in "SUPER SUCK UP MODE" so Bobbie will let me go for so long...LOL
OK Blackjack More info on the Red River Sept 24 tournament. Told me tonight no rebuys, but for $100 you get 200 more starting chips.
OK Blackjack The Comanche Nation Oct 8 quarterly. Sign up ends Sept 30. Prize pool so far $118000+/-.
OK Blackjack The Red River sign up has started Oct1-18. 1st place $90485. Prize money 1-24th place. Nice bit of money. Me and my wife will be there, maybe TX, Swog, and Ladyg.
OK Blackjack The Comanche casino Oct 8 quarterly. 191 players. Prize pool as of 9-30 $146000 unofficial.
What dates are we qualified for? BJMailman, which tournament our we in for? What are the dates? Are there two different tournaments up there? Do we have to come back up prior to register?
OK Blackjack and $1 mil Wish us luck. Me, my wife, TX, and swog will be playing in the quarterly at Red River Oct 22-23. First time for Tx and swog to try a quarterly here. They'll also get their names in the pot for the $1 mil tournament Dec 11-17. Unless they finish 1st thru 24th then they know they're in like my wife. First place $90000 prize pool around $200000. Hope we all make it to the final table together. Me and my wife keep trying.
OK Blackjack Tuesday tournaments still going on at Red River. Buy in $23, $10 add on 1st and 2nd round. Tonight 1st place got 600 some dollars. I got 2nd for $435. They still give you 1 tournament point for entering, 3 for making it to 2nd round, and 6 for final table. This is how TX and swog got their point to enter the quarterly.
Congrat's Congratulations on your 2nd place tonight BJmailman. I guess Swog and I will see you on Sunday for the quarterly tournament hopefully we will have something good to post on Monday night after the finals.
BJMAILMAN, congrats again.....we appreciate all of your help....you are the only one to posts what goes on up there....thanks again for the help....see you Sun.
OK Blackjack and $1 mil Today, the Red River tournament, 276 entered players. Many players didn't show up. Tx and swog didn't show for their 9 and 8 pm table times. Wondering what happened to them? I made it to second round Monday. They missed out on $90000 1st place and the entry they would get for playing in the quarterly for the $1mil Dec tournament. I can hardly believe so many people here that pass up the possiblity for so much money. You fly to Aruba, Vegas, Canada, etc. for less prize money (and much larger entry fees) than here and there is the $1mil tournament that would of cost Tx and swog only $23 to enter. Where else could you get into a $1mil tournament for so little? The casinos are thinking of doing the $1mil again next year.
OK Blackjack and $1 mil Me and my wife got a notice in the mail saying we are invited to participate in the $1mil tournament. My wife already qualified, but I was waiting. The notice said everybody who participated in a quarterly qualified. TX and swog you missed your chance at a $1mil tournament. The notice said a list of names would be posted at the casinos and their website before Thanksgiving.
Did you make it to Tulsa? Hey Rick, Did you make it to Tulsa for the week of Tournys? If so, how did the week play out?
OK Blackjack Rick's was playing at the Durant, OK casino on Wed,Fri, and Sat to try to get qualified for the WSOB 2007. How has that been going Rick?
Only went that first night I haven't been back up to Durant since that first Wed. (first night they offered it). I did call up one of the players I meet up there and they told me every table has been a sellout and that you need to get there early if you want in.
