Welcome aboard Shanarock, I look forward to playing you in the finals! Congratulations on the win! How was the turnout when you played? Did they make a third session that night? What was your chip total to win out?
Turnout for Pearl River Tourney Thanks JackBlack! Would be nice to see us both finish "in the money" The turnout was really surprising.Although I noticed that the locals for the most part have given up.All that I talked to hate the format to much to keep coming ......Nearly 30 per round with some rebuys. I made it in time for the second round and almost waited for the 3rd. Now I am glad I did NOT. My total for the round was 14125. 2nd place was 12300. The 3rd round was won by a lady who could do no wrong. She must have won nearly every hand her total was 32100. And she started betting 25 on hand 21 and even managed a BJ on on of her last hands at 25. Second place was pissed...he lost by 80 (another knock against the format) he had no idea anyone was even close to him....... but he did receive his lovely yellow mug as a parting gift ) Joey
Format Question I'm warming up for a run at this tournament, but I'm hoping for some more information first. What is the starting bankroll for players? What are the minimum and maximum bets? Thanks, Sentry
Format Specifics for Sentry For a $100 Buy In, you get $5000 in tourney chips. The minimum bet was $5.00 and the max is $2500.00 although I don't think anyone made a $5 bet since this is a winner-take-all, highest chip total wins the session and $1,500 cash and a chance at the $50K final prize in August.
moon bj tournament does anybody know how the moon tournament works in the weekly qualifiers.how do they get to one winner with 36 players in one hour.
hard 12, This is a non-elimination format, where you're just trying to accumulate more chips than anybody in the round. It sounds like that format has been understandably unpopular.
