In regards to the posts by Ikdog and Fmike756, I also have health problems about flying and location.

My wife has informed me that if I am thinking about travelling to the USA without her again to play in another TBJPA tournament then she will kill me...lol

I will try again next year.

Projected figures sent off...

Well I sent the casino the projected increase information they asked for today. I guess it is in the hands of their number crunchers now. Hopefully they will find these events worth hosting. I was told they would get back with me within by next week.

 

Oklahoma!!!!!!!

The location I am trying to start these tournaments are in Oklahoma. Also the projected numbers they asked for today were for tournaments Tuesday - Sunday.

I'm thinking $50 to $100 events during the week (using regular elimination format and the Airline format (Main event) on Sat./Sunday. The semifinalist will be paid in these midweek events.

The players can get more value out of their travel expenses this way. The entries will be keep lower to keep the local involved as well, this will also keep the casino happy.

As I posted before should we get these 5 events all scheduled there will be high point awards to the top three players at the end of the week.

*NOTE: Only in the Airline format will players be allowed to have two entries.

Don't worry if this location isn't close, hopefully this is just the starting place for the Airline Format. If it works then I can market it to other locations like Las Vegas, Tunica, and Biloxi. But first lets try and get it going in Oklahoma.

 

I haven't read all of everyones bitching, but sign me up for one of the first class entries please sir!

Rounds and Session's

These daily tournaments, should we get the casino to host them will be run as listed below. The 6 sessions allows their regular players time to get in the events as well as the out of towners.

*NOTE:
1) No re-buy's, but re-entries are allowed based on availability, (up to 6 times).
2) Only one seat allowed for advancement in these daily events.
3) Each session 45 minutes.
4) Number of hand 18 - 24?

Round I: 2:00 P.M. (limited to first 108)
6 - Sessions of 3 tables, 6 players per table, top 2 advance.

Round II: 6:30 P.M. (36)
2 - Sessions of 3 tables, 6 players per table, top 2 advance.

Round III: 8:00 P.M. (12)
1 - Sessions of 2 tables, 6 players per table, top 3 advance.

Round IV: 9:30 P.M.
Finals - 6 players.

Payouts: based on $50 entry @ 108 players.

1st = $2,160 (40%)
2nd = $1,080 (20%)
3rd = $ 756 (14%)
4th = $ 540 (10%)
5th = $ 324 ( 6%)
6th = $ 162 ( 3%)

7th - 12th = $ 54 (1% each)

Dealers tips: taking a percentage out wasn't good in these daily events. Dealers would have been making less than minimum wages. So we'll have a $5.00 dealers appreciation fee (Only in Round I), to compensate all the dealers each night. After all if we want the best dealers then we need to take care of them.
