Monday Night Football As I posted earlier I don't have a pick for tonights game, which by the way started at 2 1/2 today and is now up to 4 points, the total is 37. Something about this game doesn't seem right to me, with the lines at 4 and 37 I would play a two team 7 point teaser with Tenn. +11 and under 44 for a small play if you just have to have action on the game. On a good note I am all ready a winner for today reguardless of what happens tonight winning both my early games and one total for 550. I only have Astros over Reds and Cubs/Expos over 9 runs, and one six team parlay with the Tigers and the other five teams I picked.
Almost a sweep! Well the Cub's over 9 lost (5-2 final), but a horrible call against the Expos cost them at least two runs early. They even show the blown call on ESPN, that was how bad it was. That game cost a sweep and 6 team parlay tonight. Good news is I still had another winning day, (+430.) As far as my opinion on the Monday night football, I would have been on the right side both ways, (Dallas - 2 1/2 on early line and the 7 pt. teaser with Tenn. +11 and under 44 for the late line.) In all a good day, but I can't stop thinking about that shity call. That was a 1,000 swing, (-270 instead of winning over 700.) Total to date: + 1,148

Bottom line - lost! Yesterday I went -420, to date: +798 Watching that TCU game last night on ESPN II made me sick. Three times they blew 14 point leads and with just seconds left in the game Northwesten made a TD to tie it up 45 - 45. With a 5 1/2 point spread TCU was still covering. TCU won in DBL OT 48 - 45 (a 1,050 swing...ouch!) Should have been + 1,470...damm, I felt like I was sitting on 20 and watching the dealer draw a 6 card 21...LOL. Oh well bottom line is it was a loss and it over shadowed my big dog pick in baseball (Colo. over SF.)
