What do you do? Reachy, Do you sell firearms in your shop? If not, why not? What do you sell in your shop?
Me and Joep have something in common I run a specialist sports shop. My specialty is... well can you guess based on some of my previous posts? I am thinking of stocking guns, mainly so I can get one myself for use during my daily commute. I cycle to work as often as I can but my route involves long stretches of single carriageway B roads that have the national speed limit. What this means is that I use narrow country roads with lots of blind bends, hills, hedges up close to the side of the road so I have no escape, and cars driving past me at MPH with about 6' clearance. How I have dreamed of a handlebar mounted machine gun that I could just loose off at these inconsiderate b*@$ards :flame: :flame: :flame: :flame: !!! Should have been a postman then I'd have had an excuse.... Cheers Reachy
Specialty My best guess, since you raised the firearm's issue, is FLOCK JACKETS? How close am I? I also think you should consider an APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) for your commute to work. This would eliminate the need for a machine gun, which of course is illegal even the USA. Ya, I getting bored waiting for something to appear on the forum that I can constructively comment on. In the meantime, you're stuck with me.
run baby run It's a specialist running shop. I am thinking of getting a stretch hummer when I'm rich. Can I mount guns on that? Cheers Reachy
machine guns Toolman, I believe with a special permit you can have a fully automatic firearm (machine gun). Reachy, why not trade that bike in for a Harley, then they won't fly by you. tgun
I like to ride my bicycle! Never been into motorbikes but if I was I would get either a Triumph, Norton or Ducati. And I'd mount a Fully Automatic Firearm on the front too ! Cheers Reachy
Mount those guns. FOR SURE. A running shop, sounds like something you like. Wish you many years of successful business. I see Flat Eric gets around pretty good. Is he one of your customers? PS: So, when your employees are "running" around, you are f***ing off on this site. Right?
Motorbikes Reachy, I am a big fan of Motorcycle racing and have been to the majority of circuits in Europe to watch Moto GP and World Superbikes. If you have the cash, buy a Ducati 999, which I have seen made from start to finish when I visited the factory in Bologna Italy. Personally, I would never ride a motorbike as I think our roads are too dangerous. Pushbikes should be banned off the roads altogether. Andy
Flatmate My old flatmate had a Ducati 600 SS which got nicked! Rode pillion a few times which was fun. Looking forward to getting my rear wheel back from the (push)bike shop tomorrow. They are putting a fixed-gear on it so no more freewheelin' for me. You have to be careful with those babies though cos if you try to stop peddling that badboy will throw you in the path of oncoming traffic and if you're not clipped into the pedals they take your shins off! Hairy!!! Cheers Reachy
