    Palms sold out, no problem...

I heard the Palms is sold out during the UBT event next month on the 20th & 21st. However for those that are still wanting to attend I just received an e-mail with great specials at the Gold Coast right across the street from the Palms.

I also heard about a special at Hooters casino for only $25 per night, you'll have to call and check on that one.

    Hope these rates help you.

Good job Rick thats a big difference than the $500 rate that was posted here a few weeks ago. That makes a big difference if your play is not strong enough to get your room comped at the Palms or any of the other hotels in Las Vegas during the UBT main event at the Palms .For those who are not familiar with our city no matter where you may be staying in Las Vegas proper you are only a short cab ride or bus ride to the Palms. The Gold Coast and the Rio Hotel and Casino are right across the street from the Palms, just about a one minute walk.

When you add the $25 meal credit and the $15 match play that makes the room cost drop to a mere $9 per night, cheaper than a night in Lauglin, where you got the players a $20 per night deal.

Gold Coast Casino -- sold out on Tue, Fri, Sat, April 17,20,21

I just checked the Gold Coast Casino website and, sorry to say, there are no rooms available for the nights of:
    Tue April 17
    Fri April 20
    Sat April 21
    Rates for the other nights:
    Wed April 18 - $89
    Thu April 19 - $59

Looks like I'll still be at the Rio for the first 3 nights and Mandalay Bay (mostly for the pool :) that my girlfriend and I love) for the final 3 nights on our 6-night trip.

Thanks for posting the info, though, TXtourplayer!

The pool at Mandalay Bay alone is worth a trip to Vegas. You might wanna check on that though, last I heard they were doing renovations and I'm not sure when it's supposed to be completed. GOD, I love that pool....sorry to derail.
