Bad boy of blackjack I dont think so

:flame: Well Hollywood unlike you i probably work for a living. I paid off the rest of my truck with my money since you would like to know. I know you are dissapointed that im not a crackhead like you. But I Figured you would guess that to act in front of the camera like you do everyone would have to either be on drugs or drunk. Now I know why you act the way you do. By the way to me you are not the bad boy of blackjack. You are just blackjacks bitch. Thats why you wrote a book because you couldnt make any money on gambling so you had to make a living writing books. I hope no one is dumb enough to buy it because when you lose to me theyll want a refund.

Somewhere between reply #50 and #60, diablomn24 changed from a friend of Paul's to Paul himself, or at least that's how I'm reading it.

If you were Paul all along, let's hear about it now, and it won't be an issue. If you are two different people, Paul needs to get his own account.
That way there's no confusion later on.

While I'm at it, I'll put everyone involved in this discussion on notice. This thread already contains as much inflammatory language as I'm willing to tolerate on the board.

So, feel free to keep discussing this, but stop the name-calling. Before you click 'Save Message', read what you're posting to see if you think I might blast it. If you think I might, don't make me do it. Just edit it yourself.

Maybe I can help out everybody....

With so many Head to Head challenges and no where to hold them I am willing to provide the blackjack table and deal myself (or supply a dealer) as well as the location here in Texas.

Seems like hosting a Head to Head event should be in a neutral area. If this means I don't get to play so be it, it could be worth it just to watch these other matches first hand.

The players don't have to pay me a cent for renting the tables or for me dealing, (please tip the dealer if it is not me).

Now the offer is on the table and a fair one at that, Lets see who is gonna put up and who is gonna shut up? I am sure we would have several players that would come to Texas just to watch these Head to Head matches. :D

If the players don't mined me playing (Home field advantage so to say) I am sure I could get Swog to deal while I play.

I think the matches should be minimum $2,500 per player up to $10,000 per player, per match. Each match should consist of 21 games and the first player with 11 wins out of 21 games wins the match.

Let me know when ya'll are ready to "RUMBLE"...LOL

    You Missed The Point

Hollywood I know that everyone in Tinsel Town see things through "Rose Colored" glasses and that really prevents them from seeing things clearly.

You and I have danced around before and I wasn't asking you to dance again .If you want to go on the show" Dancing With The Stars" go over to ABC.com

I never back down from any of my statement's. I might not always say what people want to hear but I speak what I believe to be the truth.

I never said that Paul's play was optimum .What i did say was what he was trying to accomplish he succeeded in doing. You guys have been talking about him for 2 weeks now and prior to his show not one of us knew who he was. In the process he also took home 25 K and to go one step further it's no ones business what he did with the money its was his and his alone.

I have and still say the selection process on the invitational side left some gaping holes with the players selection's there were some that deserved the invite and they were others that bullshitted they way on with false stats and others that were selected not for the playing skill but for other reasons. There may have been others who may have crossed the line to get an invite. We all know that there was that rumor that just wouldn't go away .The one that said the Hilton had final say on all players and that was the reason that a lot of the skillfull players were left out on Paradise Road. You know this because you and I had this conversation. You called this the World Series Of Blackjack for Donkey's

It is what it is and in the long run its good for tournament blackjack and thats fine with me .Tournament Blackjack needs TV exposure and this year it will get all that it needs Its now up to the players to support it

But in this Doggy Doggy world I would venture to say you need to do what ever you need to do to further yourself, just as long as you step over people to get there and not on them.

I met Paul and his on air demeanor is totally different than his off air demeanor and I enjoyed both, similar to your antic's . He happens to be a nice guy and i feel the same way about you. They might be some people who look upon you in the same way . I thought that you would understand him better than any one else and that was my point. He has created a character and went on to win a WSOB round in the process.

You know and I know these head to head matches will never take place but I can see your point of ducking me and wanting to play Paul .He admits to not having as much playing time and you playing him would be a no win situation for you. Because if he beats you you will never be able to live that down and if you win, no one will pay much attention.

You still believe that I always want to agree to disagree with you .You pick your spots because when I was bantering with Ms. Rando I included you in with the players that he may just not want to face on a tournament table. Yet you chose to pick your spots with me when you see fit .

Now if you still want to dance with me strike up the band :band2:

I'm always up for a good dance

    Flamin Cherries Jubilee!

For whatever else meaningless chatter got toss saladed around here in the new, new, new age of Aquarias and reality tv and blather tv news, please Paul, diablomn 24 (close to assasin in english),in spite of your accomplishments, preliminary rounds and on the show, don't INSULTE the intelligence of most of the posters on this site by claiming it's your account and your FRIEND just so happened to jump on in your defense and act as your side man, corner man, trainer, agent, broker, hustler money holder.

Number one: as Yoda pointed out it was obvious.

    Number two: Not necessary.

Number three: shows a lack of creativity and character, no matter the winnings underwritting the paying off of a PICK UP TRUCK.

But keep it coming. Keep winning. Go to Aruba. Make the whole circuit now that you have the funds. See what character is really made of.

I say this as a former flash in the pan, that has outlived many another flash in the pan.

Never stepped on anyone in my life to get where i'm going... but certainly stepped over my fair share in the process. As far as rumors being started & people who may have crossed lines to get on the show -- or in the attempt to get on the show -- it certainly is a shame that in this day & age when we should all be celebrating the opportunities available to us, there are those that would start horrible rumors & untruths about others in the pursuit of their own personal agenda. I've always preferred to let truth be my guide, as horrible and ugly as it is sometimes...

i hear what you're saying about your opinion of Paul & therefore retract my statement insinuating you were just saying that to start up with me. Just make sure you hear what i'm saying as well & don't glorify this guy too much like you did with Chainsaw (who?) a few months back; smack talking on blackjack/gambling tv may always be good for ratings but when the person who calls that much attention to him/herself doesn't actually know what they're doing, it only diminishes the integrity of the sport. I've always felt strongly about making a splash in the tv gambling landscape, often to the criticism of others who view that behavior negatively; but i've felt even stronger about making sure that i was the most prepared, trained, and well-read player i could be to back that attitude up. its obvious Paul has focused entirely on the former and hardly spent a single moment on the latter & for that, i for one can never support him until i see him do more than just run his mouth. i gave Chainsaw hell on TV for glorifying ignorance at the tables, and he & i were actually friends off-camera!

in the same way that many bad books on blackjack out there promise people easy riches with no effort, players like these send the same horrible message to all the additional viewers they grab with their antics. That's why i'm always so careful to play my A-game and bring the right stats & disciplined approach to the game (despite what some may say) -- like it or not, there is a certain responsibility to communicate the reality of the complexities behind our game so that those whose attentions are grabbed with the fireworks don't walk away with a false sense of what we who consider ourselves pros do. one thing you & i will always agree on is that blackjack tournaments take a lot of effort to attempt to master & i know we both take a lot of personal pride & joy in being the best players we can be. That's why i'm so critical of players like him who take the shortcut & send the message to the audience we are trying to build for blackjack tv that there's not much skill in what we do (or worse, that they ARE using skill when it is clear to anyone with knowledge of the game watching that they aren't). i promise you that the day Paul sits down & seriously considers a text like Wong's CTS is the day i champion & glorify him for all the world to see... but until then, i hope you'll understand why i won't support this type of false idol worship.

If its all about rating's who is right !!

One would think with as much TV time that you have been blessed with that you would understand that certain things are done and should be done to make what ever venue that you are on as good as it could be.

Your reference to me glorifying Chainsaw when you both called into the radio show was just what it was .It was an opportunity for me to make the radio show even better by pitting you and Chainsaw up against each other. You know how that works you used that against me in WSOB 11 and it made the show what it was .Very entertaining and with some real skilled play on both our parts, now that's what all the shows should be like. Entertaining for the regular Joe's yet skillfully played that all tournament players will not only understand the bets but appreciate the banter between us.

How GSN passed on a rematch between us is beyond me .There were a lot of people that wanted to see that .I know I was up for the challenge

To show you that I harbour no hard felling towards you .I thought you knew that already because of how we are when we are together. You are more than welcome to call into the show if Paul calls in to get your equal time. After all this will be good for the show .

I'm not sure when you referenced the horrible rumors and untruths statement what or who you were referring to but let the record show that you along with many others were well aware of the Hilton rumor and inflated fake results that were submitted to GSN . Like I have said before some people may not want to hear what I have to say but I speak the truth and sometimes the truth "HURTS"

    Paul, Hollywood, and two cowboys

Maybe Paul and Hollywood should take note, two cowboys sat back relaxed and composed one winning the other up for another chance. Was it by chance? Maybe. Maybe not.

    Bad boy of blackjack book

    Paul

I don’t have a problem with you and will be looking forward to seeing you on the shows when they eventually air them over here.

However I do take issue on your comment that writing a book on the game is some kind of easy option given the time, research and effort required etc.

I would guess that many blackjack players have started to write books, only to give up in despair and find it easier to go back to the tables.

I will be buying Hollywood’s book and bet £10:00p you will too.

Ps If you bring a book out in the future (you probably will) I promise to buy it.

Joe P I would love to give you a call tommorrow night on your radio show. As I have taped the first two episodes I will be watching more too prove my point that I am a decent blackjack player. I have played blackjack for a long time and as far as Im concerned I didnt see anything great the way anyone played in the tournament. As far as my show is concerned I had a plan of attack and knocked Ken out. I targeted him from the start. He was last years champion and to be the best you have be the beat the best. On another note in this style of tournament play when you have a power chip it allows you to make big bets because you can replace a card if you get a crappy one. Otherwise I probaly would not have made some of the bets that I made. I beat out 3tables at Mystic lake just to advance to the next round with 7 people at each table. The first table I lost but if your the top 5 money winners other than the table winners you advance to the next round. The Next 2 rounds I won first place. Then the 7 players who were at the final table in 4 weeks that they had the tournament had another seperate tournament. So I won my table first place. Moved on to the final table and beat out 6 people to get to Vegas. Nobody is that lucky. I earned my way there.

So Paul is Nobody your first name or middle...LOL

All kidding aside, yes you won your way on the show and even though I have given you flack over some of your plays, I have always stated that you qualified for your seat and you and all the other qualifiers dissevered to be on the WSOB III.

Now as far as bad plays, I made one of the worst mistakes ever in round one last year, (I DD when I didn't need to) on the last hand. I ended up winning because the dealer busted. What I did though was admit I screwed up and went on, we all do it at one time or another. The worst thing a player can do is try to make a dumb play look like a good one.

However I still have to bust your ba--'s! Since Joep is being nice to you I think you dodged the biggest bullet on the site...LOL

    Ok

Paul Kenny and I will be looking forward to your phone call tommorow night .If you call at about 6:15 that will be perfect as it will give us enough time to talk to you about yourself and your experience playing on the WSOB and playing against " ButterMaker" .Plus I'm sure we may be getting other calls maybe even one call from the west coast if you know what I mean.
