    Thanks

Acually , i 100% agree with Joep & Ken, i should have matched seat one's bet & then Surrendered out. & i also Lost my train of thought--- to concerned with Charlie. You live & learn. Also on another note- KAMI was the best true BJ player at the table. I have learned alot over the last 3 years playing tourneys. Also these message boards alot. Ken you are SO right, i FLUBBED up. There are alot of GREAT players on here , i learn from all of you guys. Well If you guys DONT know i have moved out of VEGAS due to some family issues , but i will be visiting tourneys & playing online. Hopefully some more WSOB opps as well. Thanks for the honest thoughts on my round , Joe , Ken , RICK & all of you............ROCKNROLL-DARRELL

  2. It happens

We all make mistakes from time to time and Darrell has nothing to be ashamed of. His track record lately speaks for itself.

My favorite part of the show was Ben Mezrich saying these are the top blackjack players in the world, right before the guy in seat four makes back to back minimum bets at crunch time. (They canned Max Rubin for this guy?)

Rock on Darrell. We all know you'll be back at a Final Table in the near future.

    Kami

When they went to the last hand Kami would have had a lot more breathing room if she hadnt blown a count of her own chips on a double down. She bet 27K instead of 37k and that cost her 10k.

    On the last hand:

Kami 209,000 should have been 219,000

    Charlie 168,000 + max bet = 218,000

Kami should have had more than a max bet lead over Charlie, he would have been forced to win a double down.

    Am I wrong?

It's true that Kami missed out on some extra chips, but you can't assume that everyone would have played the same if she had the extra bankroll. Did it hurt? Yes. Would it have given her a max-bet+ lead? Who knows.

    Rock-n-roll Darrell

It's so easy for us to voice our "shoulda, woulda, coulda's" from our computers. But in the heat of the moment with the camera's rolling, and only a few seconds to act deciding your fate, RNR Darrell did the best he could. We all know he's a great player, and we've all had that type of moment. Congrats on making it farther then most of us. You'll get them next time.

Of course there is no way of knowing if Kami would have had a max+ lead at the final hand considering she would have forced players to lunge for her lead leading up to the final hand. But, they would have been lunging and it would have likely played to her, not away. Fact is she made a bad mistake. Darrell came off as a nice guy and I feel a little bad for him that some of you brake him down whilr ignoring Kami's bad mistake. I think the key to Charlie winning was Kami's mistake, Carlies surrender on second to last hand, and his use of the Burger Chip to see his double down card.
