There are 3 ways to get into this event: 1) Invitations will be given to all players who made the final tables at any of the $100,000 Table Series Tournaments ($100K 3 Card Poker, $100K Pai Gow Poker, $100K Blackjack, and $100K Craps) throughout 2009. 2) Invitations will be given to the top 100 theoretical earners from each individual qualifier $100K Tournament Series throughout the year during that specified tournament trip. 3) Being drawn as a wild card. All players who participated in any of the $100K Tournament Series qualifiers throughout 2009 and were not invited by rule 1 or 2 above will be eligible for the wild card drawing which will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009. Rooms will probably be comped. Can't say for sure what the rules will be since this is a first time event. However, based on their past tournaments, the following list of details is most likely: 6 rounds including the final table. Min. bet = $100, Max. bet = $2,500 Generally, 2 advance from each table. If needed, 3 will advance in 1 or 2 rounds to make the numbers work. Standard Hilton shoe game rules. H17, BJ pays 3:2 Many "wild cards" drawn for each round including one for the final table. A "Mulligan" will be offered for a price of $100. This gives you the right to change your last card dealt on a hand (even if the card busted your hand) or change either of the first 2 cards dealt to you. You can only use the "Mulligan" once in each round you play. If you want a "Mulligan" you must purchase it at the cage before you sit down to play. You cannot purchase it at the table. Again, the rules above are all a "best guess" based on their previous tournaments. None of them are set in concrete.
Prizes:
- Prize Pool:
- $ 150,000.00
Prize Distribution is unknown. None of their literature states that the prize money is guaranteed. However, based on their history of paying the full prize money in the tournaments leading up to this event, it's likely the full $150,000 will be paid out. Most likely, the 15 non advancing players from the semi- final tables receive $1,000. Also, they will probably have misc. drawings for cash prizes from $200 to $500 if you bought a Mulligan.
