Added details (This is one of three Blackjack tournaments of this size
being held during 2009.

Qualify by receiving a suited blackjack in live play (with
a $10 or more bet) anytime from 03/07/09 to about 05/23/09.

Rooms are comped only if you have a record of sufficient
play. Otherwise, they are about $55 per night for the
tournament players.

Their March, 2009 tournament had about 600 players which
they considered full so I think they cut off qualification
at that point - that's what I heard anyway. When this
event was held twice per year they had about 750 to 800
players.

There are 6 rounds including the final table.

Based on their past tournaments:
Min. bet = $100, Max. bet = $2,500
Generally,2 advance from each table. If needed, 3 will
advance in 1 or 2 rounds to make the numbers work.
Standard Hilton shoe game rules. H17, BJ pays 3:2

Many "wild cards" drawn for each round including one for
the final table.

A "Mulligan" will be offered for a price of $100. This
gives you the right to change your last card dealt on a
hand (even if the card busted your hand) or change either
of the first 2 cards dealt to you. You can only use the
"Mulligan" once in each round you play. If you want a
"Mulligan" you must purchase it at the cage before you
sit down to play. You cannot purchase it at the table.).
Removed Guarantee for all prizes.
Removed Guarantee for 1st prize.
Added prize details (The 15 non advancing players from the semi-final tables
receive $1,000. Also, they usually have misc. drawings for
cash prizes from $200 to $500 if you bought a Mulligan.

Although the prize pool is not guaranteed, historically
they have paid the full amount. However, if attendance is
unusually low, they may reduce the prize pool.

All prizes listed are copied from their March, 2009
tournament. They will probably remain the same
but nothing is for sure.).
